Executive Director of the Series since 1991, Karen Pellón has more than 30 years of experience in arts management, including Operations Coordinator of the Joffrey Ballet, Director of Marketing & Special Events at Ash Lawn (Charlottesville), Manager of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, and Lecture Agent of the W. Colston Leigh Bureau (NYC). She holds an MBA with a concentration in Arts Management and has served as a consultant and advisor for various organizations.
Pellón trained as a scholarship student at the Joffrey Ballet School and was a member of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
